On our visit to Sudbury Hall and Museum of Childhood this week with our visitors and Claire and Sonia, I was amused to find the very ABBA poster I used to have on my wall, in this upside down bedroom. We had gone there to see the exhibition of 70's memorabilia, which was disappointingly small. But the day was perfect, the warmest and sunniest so far this year. We enjoyed the liberty of wearing no coats and lunching in the open air.

My houseguests left on Friday and so I took Mum on a road trip to Bakewell. I hadn't quite realised how far away it was, nor how twisting and winding the roads were, but we had a pleasant day and found a lovely courtyard tea shop in which to recharge our batteries. I have certainly been out and about this week, don't know what I shall do with my itchy feet next week...
