Things I found down Memory Lane

Whilst away glamping at the weekend, we ventured to my old home town and first marital home in Driffield, once billed by Radio 1 as "the most boring place in Britain". This was our first house, a then brand new bungalow. It looked very different 20 years on, with a different front door and an unrecognisable front garden. But seeing it brought back many happy memories, such a visitors who were treated to Peter's speciality pancakes and cinnamon toast from the menu at Scarborough's Bonnet's.
We had a pleasant little shopping spree there, with some excellent bargain finds including Dee's Cath Kidston bag for the princely sum of £3.99 in a charity shop. I have been looking for some time for a china teaset (very much im Trend at the moment) and was overjoyed to discover two of them, this Dorchester fine bone china..
..and this Czechoslovakian china, 21 and 25 pieces respectively for a sum total of £12 for the two. Can't wait to have a tea party now.
