We're having a lazy Easter holiday, much needed. I've even been lazy about blogging. Since our return from Edinburgh, Tom and Anni have returned from an amazing time at YP Camp, where they were both moved and blessed. One thing they weren't is rested. Anni came home, went to bed after tea at 6.15pm and slept through until the morning. On Wednesday we went over to Ann and Jon's and looked after their little boy for a couple of hours. He's so adorable! I wasn't quite so successful in looking after Ella while Ann went to collect Jon from work. She sobbed that her pasta was too spicy and sat hiding under the table so that I wouldn't make her eat it. The next thing I knew, she was happily eating away, under the table. We rounded our day off with a visit to the cinema to see Bounty Hunter.
Yesterday Anni and I took Mum for lunch at Ginger & Pickles, then on to Dagfields for a mooch round the antiques. I found one of the few Abba LPs I don't have and a copy of and a copy of Stevie Wonder's I just called to say I love you which Peter used to play on the piano for me in the early days of our romance. We finished off back in Nantwich and Anni's choice of coffee shop, where she could get an oreo blast milkshake. Looked yummy.
