We have just spent a few lovely days with our lovely friends Ruthie and Lily. Ruthie has known Peter since he was a little boy when his family used to holiday down in Hampshire for 6 weeks each summer in the cottage next door to where she lived. I first met her on our way to Dave and Davina's wedding 15 years ago! We always have a real hoot with Ruthie and Lily and get up to lots of adventures ~ such as walking Hugo, Ben and Rebecca's giant puppy. This time they brought their guninea pig Brian with them. Brian was no trouble, in fact he was rather shy.
Last night we had a girlie night out with my sisters-in-law, two of my nieces and Ann's friend Jenny, from Canada.
We decided to go sparkly for the occasion. We were planning to stay out late but we found ourselves dreaming of pyjamas and cups of tea around 10.30pm! I am officially old.
