74 years of Mum

Today we celebrated my Mum's 74th birthday and we're very thankful for her! The cheeky chappies with her in the picture above are now 52 and 49! They're smiling because I wasn't around yet. Paul, the younger of the two came to see her today for half an hour. He hadn't been here for well over a year and he asked me why on earth I was having a craft room, "What was it you got in Art? A U, wasn't it?" Yes that's true. Let's think of it as U for Undiscovered, or Unappreciated. I defended myself by reminding him that I make my own cards, such as his Christmas card. His response was that I shouldn't send anymore because they'll go straight in the bin. Nothing like building someone up eh?

Anyway we surprised Mum with a Thorntons chocolate birthday cake, which she rather liked and so did we!
