Well, the tree is up and it's predominately pink again. Sadly we lost our pink fluffy lights in the shed disaster. (they built us a fab new concrete shed but the roof turned out not to be waterproof.
Barthez seems impressed by it anyway. It's the one part of the downstairs of our house that isn't covered in dust at the moment, in spite of obsessive cleaning. Loads of building work was done today; the shower and toilet were knocked into one, the family room and craft room were plastered and the floors were insulated. The plumber's coming tomorrow and so we may be saying farewell to the "boys' toilet" today. We've resigned ourselves to the fact that it's not going to be decorated and carpeted etc for Christmas, but the upside of that I guess is the January sales...
