On Saturday we went to Rowton castle in Shrewsbury for the wedding of Rebecca and Ben. We knew Rebecca's mum and dad before they knew each other and it makes us feel very old to see their little girl married! It was a beautiful setting and Rebecca looked amazing. This is my favourite photo of the happy couple.

It's such a strange feeling to see Glen and Julia as parents of the bride. Inside it still feels that we and our friends are the young ones. One of the wisest things my big bruv Rob ever said to me when I was a teenager was, "don't expect to wake up one day and feel grown up" ~ I'd still have been waiting otherwise.
Here's a lovely photo of Glen and Julia's family. It was a lovely day and it was a real treat to stay overnight in the castle too. Looking forward to having Becky & Ben living nearby.
