Joe's 18th

Hard to believe where the time has gone ~ it doesn't seem 5 minutes since he was in his Thomas the Tank Engine pyjamas and dressing as Superman and now my lovely nephew, Joe is 18. We drove down to London yesterday afternoon to celebrate at his 18th birthday party. We had a fabulous time and it was worth the trip there and back in a day. We finally flopped in our beds back home at 2am.

And here is the birthday boy with his sister, Lily (who is the same age as Tom) who is always stunningly gorgeous but looked more so than ever in her party dress. Lily and Anni made quite a picture.

Rob and Kath know how to put on a party. Tom is still raving about the miniature yorkshire puddings (no it wasn't at all like Bridget Jones's mother's turkey curry buffet).

We also got to spend some time with my cousin, Jean, who was my Mum and Dad's bridesmaid, and for whom I was a bridesmaid when I was 3, and her daughter, Natalie who was our bridesmaid.
