Baboons on the car and raving with Noddy

Yesterday we had a day out at Knowlsey Safari Park with Dave, Davina, Sarah-Beth, Gemma and Nathan. Annabel hadn't been all that keen on the idea of Knowlsey, but what a hoot we had! She really enjoyed herself. One of the highlights was definitely the baboons on our cars. This one was happily eating a chestnut whilst balancing on our roof. It was like watching a baboon version of a James Bond movie, watching the little ones fight whilst clinging onto the roof of a moving vehicle. Fun, right up until the wheels started smoking and my dearly beloved had the cheek to suggest I might have been driving with the brakes on. (10 years and 5 attempts to pass my test maybe, but I'm not daft enough to drive with the brakes on!
As an added bonus, our visit coincided with a visit by Noddy and his posse. As this picture shows, we were all positively overjoyed to be in time for Noddy in concert with Big Ears (are they still allowed to call him that?) Sly the goblin (everyone thought I was incredibly sad for knowing his name) and the whole gang. Tom wondered if the guy in the Noddy suit ever took stock of his life and weighed it up to be rather sad? I told him I was sure Noddy is happy to be making people happy. So Dave and Tom decifed to go with the flow and rave with Noddy.
