"Uncle Buck" celebrated his 39th birthday today. Hannah and Ella helped him to blow out his candles. I couldn't believe it when I arrived at church this morning to find that Ann and I were wearing the same top. Both of us bought them yesterday but neither of us knew. What was even funnier, was the number of people who didn't even notice. So here we are in our matching tops....
Our old friends Phil and Liz joined us for the day too. Phil and Liz, by mere coincidence, found themselves in the text right next to Ann and Jon's tent at the Word Alive campsite in France this summer. They hadn't known each other all that well before then but got on like a house on fire. So this afternoon we had them over and all had a bit of a giggle.
A lot of a giggle really.....
I think he had a rather nice birthday. Aw!
