Lenin-the-fish has now been replaced by Brezhnev-the-fish.

Very bad news is that we still haven't seen Barthez-the-cat since we came back from camp. He has been seen in various neighbours' gardens but I think he's sulking with us and won't come home. Longing to cuddle my kitty!

Very good news is that I finally have a new oven and can bake again. Tonight we made brownies and chocolate cake. The only problem is that one of the dials is back to front, I discovered this after my oven chips still weren't cooked after an hour, then I realised by looking at the instruction manual that gas mark 8 was really gas mark 1. I'm plagued by faulty ovens. Must get them to sort it tomorrow.
