What a beautiful bank holiday we have been blessed with! Today we had arranged to meet up with friends for a walk and it was just the perfect weather for it. On our walk, I came across this gorgeous sign on a gate.
At the end of the walk, we had a very long and leisurely lunch at the Black Swan. Such a gorgeous setting!
We sat for so long in the sun that we actually got a touch of sunburn, so unused to the sun are we now.
As well as the sun, we had the comedic entertainment of Peter and Jay, seen here tucking into Sophie's dog biscuits (which apparently tasted nice!! Bleurghh!)
I loved the space they have created, seen here behind Chris and Pippa...very vintage, very glamping. After our 3 hour lunch I was so relaxed that I feel asleep on the sofa...for two whole hours. Ooops! Ah well, I guess that's what a day off is for. Vive le soleil.
