Happy 2013! Maybe it is the result of too much eating and sitting on the sofa over Christmas, but at this time of year, I always get itchy feet for the outdoors. So on New Year's Day we decided on a family walk round Apedale. The five older girl cousins opted for more sitting..in Costa Coffee..instead.
It was nice to have Tom around, he had one of the only 3 days he has had off since he arrived home. We are very grateful for his work ethic but we enjoyed having him with us. The moustache sadly remains and is currently in the process of being joined by a beard.
We may be on the wrong side of 45, but we can still climb a fence.
We had a nice walk and it was a good way to kick start a healthier new year. I have got rather used to being off work and being a family of four again and don't really want it to end next week.
