John and Tom have been a great double act with their dreadful jokes and their quiz which involved the leaders eating Olympic meals which ranged from cold custard on toast to a mixture of crab sticks, tomato soup and strawberry yoghurt. Blurggh!
After HBC yesterday, Anni and I ventured to Trentham Gardens, to take my nephew Pierre and niece Amélie out for the afternoon. Pierre had a great time, splashing in the puddles and running round the vast gardens.
Anni had a great time photographing his antics.
Although afterwards, she was so worn out that she was in bed by 8pm. Now we know why some of my sils like an afternoon snooze when we go glamping!
In spite of the intermittent rain, Anni found shelter under a tree on a deckchair, so that Amélie could have a break from looking through her raincover. Such cuties!
