After what has felt like the longest school year ever, we celebrated the end of term with a 70's party for the lunchtime staff room gang. I was so surprised when "Demis Roussos" rolled up on my driveway and stunned by the effort everyone had made.
Even the food and drink was from the 70's. We had vol au vents, prawn cocktail, Bird's trifle, a cheese and pineapple hedgehog, Babycham, Martini and even Dubonnet (s'il vous plait!)
To bring perfection to the evening, we indulged in some "Abba-you can dance" as well as karaoke. You know you've had a good party when the singing drives your son to take a late night walk to the pool and your daughter to tweet, "Help!"

Fab! I had that tartan mini skirt :)
That last photo looks like you had Kylie at your party and I'm sure she wasn't around in the 70's. I never dressed like that, but do remember eating most of that food. Loved the vol au vents. Do you remember Toast Toppers?
I do remember Toast Toppers. Loved them!
