A summer picnic concert in actual sunshine

Last night I went to see an Abba tribute band at Trentham Gardens, the third I have seen in my lifetime, which I suppose makes me an official saddo! I was very blessed to have the company of three of my sils, Marianne, Helen and Judith, who humoured me. We packed a picnic and some folding chairs and spent a really lovely evening, chatting, chomping, chilling and listening to "Abba".
It was lovely, a wonderful way to wind down from a long school year.
This was the first Abba tribute band I have encountered, where they actually put on Swedish accents!
We also enjoyed people watching. It was such a beautiful setting too. I have never really spent much time in the actual gardens and the lakeside was really pretty as dusk fell.
Even as it got a little chillier, it was never cold and I am thankful that we had a sunny day and evening for it.
Thank you girls, for humouring your saddo sil xxx
