Presenting the gorgeous Mr & Mrs Hicks

Thursday 29th December was a very special day for our family. Peter's beautiful (inside and out) sister Judith married her lovely fiancé Dan at Crewe Hall. Judith was the last of the siblings to walk down the aisle and it was a very emotional occasion. Both Judith and Dan looked absolutely amazing and radiated happiness throughout the day.

Their photographer Lesley was incredible. Not only is her work fabulous, but she is such a lovely lady and helped us get some fabulous hots for ourselves, such as this one above. 

So young Daniel has inherited a rather large family. (Bear in mind that this is all of Judith's siblings with their husbands, wives and children with one sil, two nephews and a niece over in Canada and not on the photo!)

Judith had her two youngest sisters, Ann and Alison as her bridesmaids. I loved their outfits, they looked stunning, not half bad for two women with seven lively children between them. The venue was a gorgeous setting for photographs too.

Here's my little family at the wedding. Anni and I only bought our dresses the day before. Very stressful! Anni had a very busy morning, resewing the hem of Tom's suit trousers and putting my hair up and getting herself ready. We had our nieces Lizzie and Naomi and our nephew Jonny and his girlfriend Megan to stay too so it was a hive of activity in out house.

One of the lovely touches at the reception was the place "cards", which were actually bars of chocolate with menus on one side...

 ....and names on the other.

Loved the wedding cake too, with lots of crystals on the top.

Tom commented that he loved seeing the family all dressed up. I loved the matching outfits Ally and David's four boys wore. Going to miss these cheeky chappies now they have flown back home to Qatar until the summer. 

Ally had discovered that the pretty shoes she had bought in Qatar, were actually two right feet! Having spent an uncomfortable afternoon in them, she was pretty glad of a change of footwear for the evening reception. 

It's hard to ceilidh in any shoes but two right ones would be pretty painful! 

This evening Judith and Dan fly off for a two week American road trip. Jealous much! Here's wishing them a wonderful honeymoon and lots of love and happiness. xxxx
