Plenty bargains

I have had a most lovely day today, most relaxing and much needed. My sil and bil Ann and Jon came over for brunch and we were joined by Peter's mum and dad. Peter and Tom had been rather saddened by the untimely death of yet another PS3, but Jon came through the door bearing his, so that was the boys sorted for the day whilst Ann, Anni and I went to Lady Heyes, which if you have never visited, you really ought to, it is a labyrinth of interesting little shops selling craft materials, old fashioned sweets, second hand books, candles and antiques.  Anni got plenty value for her pocket money with a Beatles vinyl and five books, still giving her change from £10. She loved the record shop and the needlecraft shop, Ann was in her element with the yankee candle shop and the cake craft store and I love Crab Apple Crafts where they sell all things for scrapbooking and cardmarking and had a 75% off sale.
We even came home to a happy household, the men on Fifa 11 and the children happily snuggled up in the purple room, watching Mamma Mia. More days like this please :)
