A birthday "party" with a difference

On Saturday we did a birthday "party" with a difference. We hit the TC with Anni and 9 of her schoolfriends. They sorted themselves out into groups of 3 and a 4 and went off with a list of 30 things to photograph whilst they were shopping. They loved it and it was sooooooooo much fun looking at their works of art when we returned home with them for food. Above we have Anni's team "with Donny Osmond". (Can you believe that one of the team actually asked, on seeing the list, "Who is Donny Osmond?")

I loved Beth's interpretation of being photographed with someone famous!

One of the tasks was to be photographed holding a copy of "Horse & Hound" magazine. We also had, "in the worst outfit you can find", "dressed in an outfit on a shop mannequin", "in a shop window" and "scaring someone" amongst many others including.. the weirdest book you can find. Meanwhile, we lunched in Cafe Rouge and shopped around, even joined in the fun ourselves until Peter decided it was "doing his head in." Definitely a celebration I would recommend. Thanks to Davina for the idea :)
