Mystery solved regarding the famous person at the zoo to whom we just couldn't put a name. Peter had a sudden flashback on his way to work, it was Andy Serkis, the guy who played Gollum in LOTR. How cool is that? Wish we'd realised at the time, we'd have asked for a photo with the kids. Also, his wife was Mrs Fairfax in Jane Eyre. Checked it out on IMdb and their children had the names of the children at the zoo, so Peter was right. We saw Gollum and Mrs Fairfax.
That makes up for Dave stealing my thunder about being an eco warrior. He said that if women shut up there would be a whole lots less oxygen used up. I did offer a comeback about men but he reckons noxious gasses don't count.
