On my list

If you've ever seen the Lizzie McGuire movie, you'll remember the teacher, Miss Ungermeyer, who puts on her "list" everyone who crosses her on her school trip to Italy. Well here's who is on my list from Krakow:
  • Polish people who don't queue. They elbow you out of the way, even in a toilet queue.
  • The German school party who woke us up at 1am (right after I had said "isn't it quiet in this hotel) and rattled keys like Prisoner Cell Block H and shouted and ran about and gave me German backchat until 2.30am.
  • The Polish passport controller who laughed and joked with 5 people at a time at his window but shouted at Sarah "Get behind the line!" when she dared to appear at the same window as me.
  • Chewbacca from the room next door and SNORED!
  • The rude Americans who joined our tour party, pushed our kids out of the way and even had the audacity to ask questions. We just assumed that they'd been put with our group to make up the numbers, but no, they were just tagging along for a free tour of Auschwitz.
  • The Year 11 boy who did a smelly dump right before room inspection.
  • The Lancashire man who expecting all small children to have an automatic right to jump the queue to board the plane and called us "pig ignorant" (He also expected to jump the queue).
  • Whoever made our plane 6 and a half hours late!
  • Whoever decided to serve schnitzel, boiled potatoes with dill and grated carrot, grated beetroot and grated pickled cabbage 4 times in 4 days!
  • Polish toilet roll ~ so recycled you can almost see splinters in it!

NOT on my list

  • The lovely Janet who gave us the following day off when we arrived home at 3am.
