Glamping: The Fourth Annual Adventure

This last weekend was our annual sils' glamping weekend and it was even more fabulous than ever. This time we had chosen a new venue, to ring the changes and what a top decision that turned out to be. We headed for the Dandelion Hideaway in Osbaston.
It was impressive even before we set off because it was only half an hour away from my sil Ann's house and the direction meant that we could all travel together. We were also booked in until the Monday, which meant that we could have a truly leisurely Sunday there. Our canvas lodge was sooooo beautiful. This was the living area.
We had a beautiful, roll top bath, with constant hot water, perfect for deep, bubbly soaks at the end of a hard day of relaxation.
The door with the cutaway hearts was the entrance to Ann and Judith's bed, set inside it's own little shed.
Everything was high quality, vintage and chic, just our style. We had some fab meals, organised by our expert catering manager sil Derryth.
A long walk back to the farm, was the Old Cow Shed shop, full of cut housey things and farm fresh edible goodies.
Again, because of the location, another of our sils, Gilly, was able to come for a day visit. That evening we all went out for dinner together at a nearby restaurant.
We scrubbed up for the occasion. This photo makes me giggle, because you can see how much fruit we haven't got round to eating because we were too busy eating delicious goodies such as flapjack, baked for us by our mother-in-law/mother and the stash of chocolate we had brought between us. Ah well, the thought of healthy eating was there.
Going at the end of half term was definitely a good idea, because it gave us an extra afternoon there.
Verdict? We LOVED the Dandelion Hideaway and we are already thinking about going back there.
