Tuesday's update; the artex has been banished from the kitchen along with the flat roof and we now have a smooth ceiling...with sky lights set in a mini tunnel. Love it! Reminds me of a funny story:
When we lived in our previous house, we had rather chunky artex in the kitchen. One day my Mum ran her hand down the wall and asked, "Where these walls semtexed when you moved in, Lol?"
