It has been an exciting week for number one son! On Wednesday, he went to his first university open day~in Sheffield. I was pretty impressed that he found his way there and back via train and tram on his own (quite a feat as you will know if you are acquainted with Mr Disorganisation Himself). He came back buzzing. He absolutely loved it. Then on Thursday, came the long awaited reply from Edinburgh....and it was an offer of 3Bs!!! I don't know who is more excited, him or me. I would love the prospect of 4 years in Edinburgh studying History and Russian.
Then to cap it all he is off on his pre-Borneo expedition to Snowdonia this weekend, climbing mountains and wild camping (hence the walking shoes and giant rucksack above). Happy for my boy xx

Hey!!Well done Tom. Four years in Edinburgh sounds great to me too....tho not sure about the Russian bit, just the History and Edinburgh bit.
