The Christmas festivities continued on Sunday when my bil and sil Ste and Dee and our niece Erin came to spend the day with us. We also had Alex to lunch. For this occasion I cooked Jamie's crunchy garlic chicken (which I would definitely do again) and we christened our lovely new Christmas glasses. Mum enjoyed the company immensely and stayed with us for the whole day (she usually likes to go home soon after lunch).
Whilst the men watched football in the afternoon, we tried to watch my fave ever film It's A Wonderful Life on video. I then realised that we haven't tried to watch a video since we changed the tv and the machine just doesn't work. Time to buy it on dvd and convert those old family videos methinks.
We're having such a lovely time and work seems light years away.
