Almost a teenager

On Saturday we celebrated Anni's birthday (she turns teenage on Tuesday.) She was honoured that her cousin, Elisabeth, came to share her party on her OWN 14th birthday. So together they blew out the candles on the birthday cake.

Once again, out came the chocolate fountain. We really wonder if we ought to consider sending Anni to Eggleston Hall where she can learn to become a lady:

Altogether there were 10 of them, here for a sleepover. (Alicia went home at bedtime.) Thankfully, they all slept in the new lounge. As hoped, you can't really hear them in there from upstairs, except when they ventured out giggling all their way into the kitchen. Interestingly enough, when I went to wake them up for croissants and pains au chocolat this morning at 8.30, they were all out for the count. Bet they'll all sleep well tonight...
