Today marks 3 months since the building work, which was going to take "five to six weeks" first began. These last few weeks have seen very little progress and we are getting really fed up with it. The front of the house looks like a rubbish tip. Apparently the only hold up is the doors! Well today the back door (after much badgering) finally arrived and what used to be the back of the garage (above) is now taking shape as the craft studio (below):
The shed which we had built turned out to have a roof completely lacking in any kind of waterproofness and so some of the soaked stuff from the shed is currently littering the floor of the craft studio. Can't quite understand why it couldn't have been bricked in and glazed today as well, but hey ho!
