1)I can’t sleep without my teddy bear. No seriously, I really can’t. He’s been everywhere with me, school trips (yes ones I’ve been on as a teacher!), hospital, holidays…just everywhere. If I can’t find him just before I go to bed (cruel people have been known to hide him) my hands get all itchy and I get panicky.
2)My taste in music. I like the Bee Gees, Donny Osmond, The Seeker, Marty Robbins and Abba and yet I like Coldplay, Lily Allen, Oasis and some other cool stuff.
3)I can’t watch tv if there’s something in my line of vision, like a cup on the rug or a pen on the tv stand.
4)I have been known to mop the kitchen floor or hoover up at midnight. If it needs doing, it needs doing, I just can’t leave things.
5)According to my daughter I have a “routine” where I always get up and go to the bathroom within 5 minutes of having gone to bed. Funny because I’m so busy at work I can often go from lunchtime ‘til teatime without going.
6)I get annoyed when people use apostrophes in the wrong place, like grocer’s shops where they offer to sell “pea’s” aaaaaaaaaaaaargh. I get just as ratty when people say “he said to you and I” when it should be “me” and vice versa. To me that’s like people scraping their nails down a blackboard.
