Triffids

They call themselves leylandi but they are actually triffids in another guise. Take my advice ~ don't ever plant them. Oh they appear innocent enough at first but they soon go beserk and out of control. Ours our so out of control that we have been ordered to trim them by the local council. (Oops!)
So we have decided to get rid of the triffids. Hooray and hoorah!
We're off to Dorset for a family wedding this weekend. Really looking forward to spending some time with brothers and sisters in law. Anni and I have pink and purple dresses for the occasion. A landmark shopping trip was had yesterday ~ the first time I had to buy both my children's clothes from adult shops in adult sizes. Note that Tom has not inherited his father's shopping skills. "You choose a shirt for me. I can't choose. I hate shirts."
"Okay how about this one?"
"Don't like it."
"This one?"
"Ugh no!"
"Well you choose then."
"I don't need a shirt, I've already got one."
I'm not used to men who don't like shopping. Apart from my Dad who could never go in Marks and Spencers because it gives him backache. He only likes bookshops.
