The people of Summerton have gathered for a meeting. It's just a simple decision making process; it shouldn't take long. Everything is explained, slowly, carefully and precisely. A summary is given by Rob, very succintly. There are no questions because it was crystal clear. Then when it comes to decision time, the questions trickle in. "So why can't we build a village hall in Wrongledon? After all, it would save us six hours a week in travel time." A strange question indeed. Why, hadn't Donny covered that at least three times on previous occasions and once again tonight? Hmmm! Curiouser and curiouser. Finally we get to the vote. Ooops, no the front row still aren't clear what they're voting on. Patiently, the issue is explained again, for the fifteenth time that evening. They still don't vote. But they don't abstain either!?!?!?! And then, the pièce de résistance when amidst all the voting Mindy pipes up, "Can I ask a question?" "No Mindy, you can't right now."
"I just wondered..."
Take a deep breath and remember the 10% rule.
