My 10 year old really lifted me up yesterday. As I passed her room, she and her friend were singing "There is a higher throne". Later, at bedtime, she wanted to talk about her favourite hymns, she said that when she sings the words "through em'rald courts and sapphire skies" she can really picture them in her mind. And I thought, that's what's ahead of us, how often do we sit and picture that?
It made me glad; glad that she thinks that way and so thankful that she has friends with whom she can happily sit and sing words like that.
