We have had our boy back home for the weekend, along with his dreaded washing bag! This time he also brought his friend, Alina, from university. She introduced us to her own home made jam. We introduced her to the delights of village life.

Tom was keen to show her the farm animals; he is still a little boy at heart. 

We had a lovely time, but it didn't seem five minutes before they were back off to the frozen north again.
