My First Visit To Old Trafford

I had never been to Old Trafford before but Peter has always been keen to take me. Yesterday he had free tickets through work to see the final home game of the season. We were amazed to find ourselves just 5 rows from the pitch.
We had recently had free tickets to see a City match and were quite disappointed with the atmosphere, which was more like a tennis match. Well, there was definitely passion and atmosphere at this match!
And being so close we got some great pics.
Without wishing to be a traitor to womankind, I really rather enjoyed it. I loved walking up to the ground, being surrounded by real Manc accents (realizing how muted ours have become). I loved the moment when everyone gathering round a car radio, listening to the City match, eating chips, came to a collective stop, chips half way to their mouths when someone nearly scored, then a breath and ..chips in mouths. Love it.
