Losing my Dad has made me conscious that we don't always tell people often enough the nice things we think and feel about them while we still have the opportunity so: 10 things I love about my Mum:
She always puts herself last.
Her generosity, she truly is a cheerful giver.
Her cute malapropisms.
The way she loves us all so much.
Her taste in music.
Her sensitivity to other people's feelings.
Her patience with the children.
Her humility and quiet spirit.
She always encouraged us to be what we wanted to be and let us learn by our mistakes.
She's just cute!
10 things I loved about my Dad
His undaunting faith and adherence to his principles.
His sense of humour (yes, those corny jokes.)
The way he loved us all so much.
His servant spirit.
His selflessness.
His bravery.
His positive and uncomplaining attitude.
His ability to talk to anyone and everyone.
The way he never admitted he didn't know the answer.
The fact that I can't picture him without a smile on his face.
